Launch of Radya Fellowship 2023
Radya Fellowship has officially opened its registration until January 15, 2023. Radya Fellowship is a certified training and internship program, guided by experienced mentors in the field of Information Technology.
This program serves as a bridge between students who are about to graduate or have recently graduated and the industry. As we know, not all fresh graduates can immediately secure jobs. In fact, out of the hundreds of thousands of IT graduates each year, only about 10% successfully get recruited by companies.
However, this does not mean that university graduates are unable to compete in the job market. Universities aim to build a strong academic foundation for various disciplines. With a solid foundation from their studies, graduates can be easily trained for professional work. However, the rapid development of the industry has widened the gap between academic knowledge and industry needs. Therefore, additional training or pre-skilling bootcamps are required to bridge this gap.
To address this challenge, Alkademi has launched the Radya Fellowship program to prepare Indonesia’s future technology leaders through an internship program led by experienced industry practitioners. This six-month internship program includes a training scholarship, mentor access, and an innovation project to help empower Indonesia’s digital economy.
Objectives of Radya Fellowship
By joining the Radya Fellowship program, participants are expected to build successful careers in the technology and IT industry while demonstrating leadership and contributing to community development. Additionally, graduates of the Radya Fellowship should be able to:
- Analyze and apply computing principles and relevant disciplines to identify solutions

- Understand professional responsibilities and make decisions based on computing practices rooted in legal and ethical principles
- Apply computing theories and software development fundamentals to create computing-based solutions
